What kind of game is this?
Dragon Quest V is considered by many fans to be the emotional highlight of the entire series. The epic story follows the protagonist over several decades from childhood through youth to adulthood, including marriage and having children. Additionally, DQV was the first to introduce recruiting and taming monsters for your own team (a precursor to Pokémon). The game runs natively on all Japanese Super Famicom consoles or with a suitable adapter/mod on European PAL SNES systems.
