In SimCity 2000, you take on the role of the mayor and build your own metropolis from the ground up. You designate residential, commercial, and industrial zones, build roads, rails, water and power networks, and take care of schools, hospitals, police stations, as well as your city's budget. But watch out for natural disasters and giant monsters that threaten your painstakingly built city!

• Isometric 3D Perspective: Compared to the first part, the view changes from a bird’s-eye perspective to a beautiful isometric view with elevation differences on the map.

• Expanded Infrastructure: For the first time featuring subways, bus lines, water pipe systems, airports, and futuristic arcologies (giant skyscrapers).

• Mouse Support: The game supports the Super Famicom computer mouse, which greatly simplifies menu navigation and brings a PC feel to the SNES!
