Nintendo GameBoy Classic Custom – Black Neon Edition (OVP Design) with IPS V5 Ultra Display Mod

Pure nostalgia for all true retro fans! This original Nintendo GameBoy Classic (DMG-01) has been professionally restored and rebuilt in the spectacular Black Neon Design - a direct homage to the iconic layout of the original Nintendo GameBoy packaging (original box) from back then!

The front shell impresses with its unmistakable grid pattern and glowing neon-blue blueprint accents, instantly bringing back memories of unboxing the console in the 90s. The entire housing and the buttons blend seamlessly into this stylish cyber look. As the perfect color contrast, the back shines in a slightly transparent, smoky black (Smoke Black) shell.

The technical centerpiece is the installed IPS V5 Ultra Display Kit: It is one of the best screen upgrades available for the GameBoy Classic! With extremely high resolution, perfect contrast, and a significantly enlarged display area, your DMG classics come to life again. The panel is directly laminated with the scratch-resistant real-glass lens (laminated), so annoying air gaps and dust particles beneath the screen are a thing of the past.

The integrated OSD menu can be opened using the side-mounted rotary control. It offers 36 different color modes (from classic original green to modern RGB colors), retro pixel effects (scanlines), and stepless brightness adjustment.
