Get the best out of your original GameBoy (DMG-01)! The Q5 OSD IPS Kit from Hispeedido replaces the old, low-contrast display with a state-of-the-art, backlit panel. With an 11% larger viewing area and an extremely wide viewing angle of 178 degrees, your "Gray Brick" looks like a console from today.
The special feature of this kit is the enormous color customization: It has 8 preset color modes, each of which can be adjusted in detail. Theoretically, you have over 65,000 different color combinations available to find the perfect look for your favorite games.

Operation via the contrast knob:

Turn: Stepless brightness adjustment (20 levels).

Important installation notes:

Case modification: Due to the larger display area (11% more), the original DMG case must be slightly modified (cut) inside. Alternatively, we recommend our "IPS-ready" cases.

Solder-free installation: The main installation is done via flat ribbon cables. Only small solder points are required for the speaker (the speaker is often pre-wired).

Image position: No worries about misalignment – the image position can be perfectly centered via the OSD menu in software.
