What kind of game is this? This spin-off, released by Enix in 2003, is the third installment in the popular Dragon Quest Monsters series and also a prequel to Dragon Quest VII. You take on the role of the young prince Kiefer, who leads a caravan through a vast world. The unique gameplay combines the familiar recruiting and training of over 200 classic Dragon Quest monsters with the strategic management of your caravan. You must plan wagon loads, hire human companions with useful professions (such as healer or hunter), and manage resources. A deep RPG gem from the 16-bit era!

The cartridge is visually in excellent, clean condition and the front label is undamaged (see image 2). The original manual and inserts are flat and well preserved (see image 4). The cardboard box is absolutely sturdy, holds its shape perfectly, and shows only slight, age-typical signs of use and storage on the corners and side opening flaps, such as minimal edge wear or tiny creases (well documented in the detailed shots from image 6 to image 10).
