What kind of game is this? This 2003 spin-off released by Enix is the third installment in the popular Dragon Quest Monsters series and also a prequel to Dragon Quest VII. You take on the role of the young prince Kiefer, who leads a caravan through a vast world. The unique gameplay combines the familiar recruiting and training of over 200 classic Dragon Quest monsters with the strategic management of your caravan. You must plan wagon loads, hire human companions with useful professions (such as healer or hunter), and manage resources. A deep RPG gem from the 16-bit era!

The cartridge is in excellent, clean condition and the front label shines beautifully (see image 2). The original manual and inserts are complete, flat, and well preserved (see image 4). The cardboard box is absolutely sturdy, holds its shape very well, and shows only slight, age-typical signs such as minimal edge wear or tiny superficial crease lines on the corners and along the top edges (well documented in the detailed shots from image 6 to image 10).
