Forget everything you knew about handheld displays. The Laminated AMOLED Kit from Hispeedido brings the screen technology of modern smartphones to your GameBoy Color. Unlike conventional LCDs, the pixels in this AMOLED panel light up themselves – which means: where it should be black, it is absolutely black. The contrast is simply perfect.
The display is 25% larger than the original and offers razor-sharp rendering without any distortion thanks to 16-to-1 integer scaling. Due to the laminated construction (display and glass panel are firmly connected), there is no light refraction and – most importantly – no dust between the display and lens.
A special feature: All control is done via touch. You can even change the color of the "GAME BOY COLOR" logo on the glass panel directly in the menu (32 colors to choose from)!

OSD menu control (touch):

Activate: Touch the screen for 5 seconds.

Navigate: Swipe up or down with your finger to scroll through the pages.

Important installation notes:
Attention: Cutting an original case for this display is extremely difficult and tedious. We strongly recommend using a suitable "pre-cut" case from our shop.

Soldering work: Only a single cable for power supply needs to be soldered.

No motherboard included: This is an upgrade kit; the GameBoy Color itself is not included.

FRM function: Frame rate mixing (frame blending) can be enabled for smoother display in certain games.
