A mirror-like luxury dream for collectors and fans of the Silver Edition! This original Nintendo Game Boy Color (CGB-01) has been painstakingly restored and upgraded with a fantastic silver-chrome shell featuring a mirror-gloss finish.

The entire shell shines with a smooth, mirror-like chrome finish. As the perfect contrast, snow-white buttons (D-pad, A/B buttons, and Select/Start rubber buttons) have been installed. A white real-glass screen lens with the colorful “GAME BOY COLOR” lettering perfectly completes the clean, elegant design.

The technical centerpiece is the installed 2.8" Laminated IPS LCD Kit from Hispeedido: It offers an approximately 46% larger viewing area than the original GBC screen and delivers razor-sharp HD resolution (480x432 with Integer Scaling). Because the glass and LCD are firmly bonded together (laminated), there is no distracting air gap and, guaranteed, no speck of dust under the display!

The integrated OSD menu allows the display experience to be customized - from 20 brightness levels and optional retro pixel effects to the practical Desaturation function, which can be used to adjust the IPS colors to the original, subtle look of the time when desired.

Controls & OSD menu

1. Control via the touchpads (top of the shell)

• In-game:

  • Left touch sensor (short press): Switch color mode / color scheme.

  • Left touch sensor (long press): Cycle through retro pixel effects (scanlines).

• Operating the OSD menu:

  • Hold both touchpads simultaneously for 3 seconds: Activate the OSD menu.

  • Right touchpad (hold for 2 seconds): Select menu item OR exit the menu & save.

  • Left touchpad (hold for 2 seconds): Exit the menu without saving.

  • Right / left touchpad (short press): Increase (+) or decrease (-) values.

2. Control via button combination

• Press SELECT + A + B simultaneously: Open the OSD menu.

• SELECT + A: Select / save & exit.

• SELECT + B: Cancel without saving.

• Button A / Button B: Increase / decrease values.
