What kind of game is this? This action RPG, released by Squaresoft in 1993, is an absolute cult classic. Instead of turn-based battles, it offers an innovative real-time combat system, enhanced by the legendary "Ring Menu" for maximum clarity. You control the trio of Randi, Purim, and Popoi through a beautifully drawn world to restore the lost Mana and the legendary Mana Sword. Accompanied by the world-famous, emotional soundtrack by Hiroki Kikuta and famous for its co-op feature (playable with up to three players using a Multitap), this game belongs in every well-curated retro collection!

Condition details:

• The exact visual condition of the cartridge and packaging can be seen in detail in the product images. The cartridge is fully functional and the front label is very well preserved. However, the light gray plastic back of the cartridge shows age-related spots and discoloration (clearly visible in the third image). The cardboard box is sturdy and holds its shape but shows clear, typical signs of wear for its age all around, including edge wear as well as more noticeable bumps and white scuff marks on the corners and opening flaps (well documented in the sixth, eighth, and tenth images). The game has been successfully tested for functionality.
